GF-Smart™ is a suite of training modules designed for managers, servers, and back of house staff covering the essential elements of a restaurant & foodservice establishments gluten-free program.

Training topics include ingredient sourcing, gluten-free food preparation, storage practices, strategies and requirements for avoiding gluten cross-contamination, serving & customer engagement best practices.

Each restaurant & food serve establishment participating in the GFFP will receive free GF-Smart™ training for key staff.

GF-Smart™ helps participants:

  • Understand the medical rationale of a gluten-free diet for people with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity.
  • Plan and manage a gluten-free kitchen.

There are no prerequisites for the GF-Smart course.

Valid in Your State or Province

The GF-Smart course is recognized in all States and Provinces throughout the United States and Canada. You'll be a GF-Smart Trained Food Handler for 3 years.
