For our brand, giving customers confidence that we are doing what is right for the gluten free community is the most important issue. The GFFP logo, which is recognized and noticeable on our packaging and website, is a way for our brand to communicate the fact that we not only use GF ingredients, but our facility, personnel and systems are certified GF. The team at GFFP have made this process easy to deploy and I thoroughly recommend them.
Jennifer Reynolds, Owner of - Sauce Goddess Gourmet (client since 2014)
GFFP are a truly great partner, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get GF certified. Their customer service team respond quickly to enquiries, and their logo is well regarded in the US, Canadian and International markets. As a result its increased consumer confidence in our emerging brand. We also appreciate their competitive pricing in comparison to other players in the market.
Ashley Kohn, Founder & CEO of - Prevail Jerky (client since 2019):
We initially quit a competitor’s GF program to take advantage of GFFP’s lower certification costs. Adding to that, since joining GFFP’s program, sales have increased to such a degree we’re about to take on a new QA Manager, gained shelving space in major retail chains, and we’re also building a larger facility.
Caty Powell, CEO of - 4USnacks (client since 2021):
Since gaining our GFFP certification, the brand recognition of GFFP’s logo on our packaging by retail buyers and shoppers in the aisles, has helped increase our sales. As a result in quick time we’ve doubled the breadth of our product range and are now distributed into 6000 stores nationally.
Elad Barkan, Co-Founder & Board Member of - It’s Skinny (client since 2023):
After putting the GFFP logo on our packaging and website we have seen nothing but success. Our overall production capacity has increased, and we are now working with more regional and national retailers; resulting in Costco listing us in their stores. There’s also been no requirements by GFFP for annual audits and the fees they charge are more reasonable than other gluten free certifiers.
Mohammed Shaikh, Director at Queens Premium (client since 2022)
Green’s Gluten Free has been a staple of the gluten-free community since 2004 and we are very pleased to partner with the GFFP to certify our products. During the setup process customer support was quick to respond and helpful, leading to a pretty seamless integration. They have also been great at collaborating on projects and programs throughout the year. We look forward to helping direct more people to certified gluten-free options through GFFP and its partners.
Peter Timboe, Marketing Manager of Merchant du Vin – Green’s GF (client since 2023)
We have been working with GFFP's Program for more than 10 years and found their certification process to be easy and manageable and when we've had questions, their staff are quick to respond. Over time co-packers have suggested we change certifiers, because their gluten free threshold of 10 parts per million (ppm) is less stringent when compared to GFFP's 5 ppm. However, we chose not to change because we want to ensure that our customers are getting the  best quality gluten free products on the market.
Joyce Shrock, Owner of Grandpa's Kitchen (client since 2014)
Before we found GFFP the certification process for our small gluten-free bakery was very costly and time consuming.  Now, with their help, we can focus on what we do best, instead of constantly preparing for extra audits meant for larger businesses.  I wish we would have found them sooner!
Josiah D. Haughwout, General Manager at New Cascadia Traditional (client since 2023)
Being a part of GFFP's program has increased our customer trust and growth as a certified gluten-free sauce company. This program continues to reach out and provide support after years of partnership.  We appreciate their professionalism and partnership. Thank you GFFP for providing excellent customer service and a program our potential and current customers can trust!
Erika Reagor, Owner at Thrive Sauce Co. (client since 2022)

GFFP Gluten-Free Certification for Manufactured Products

GFFP's unique approach to gluten-free certification enables our customers to reduce expenses, increase efficiency and gain a competitive edge in the gluten-free marketplace.

GFFP gluten-free certification is a voluntary program developed by industry specialists with standards founded on globally accepted preventative, gluten-free safety approaches for the manufacturing of gluten-free products.

GFFP gluten-free certification provides standards and best practices recognized by the gluten-free community to help our customers address the prevention and control of gluten cross-contamination and help augment existing gluten-free production procedures.  Implementation of GFFP gluten-free certification standards increases consumer confidence that manufacturing procedures have been reviewed by a neutral party and demonstrates legitimacy of the manufacturer’s gluten-free processes.

GFFP gluten-free certification further requires that all products certified in the program meet the strictest industry requirement of 5 ppm (parts-per-million) or less, as established by the National Celiac Association. This promotes the highest safety standard, confidence and brand loyalty amongst the celiac community and those who require gluten-free products for other health reasons.

GFFP certifies products manufactured at both dedicated and non-dedicated gluten-free production facilities so long as those facilities conform to the requirements as set out in the GFFP Standards.

Brand owners producing gluten-free products directly through a manufacturing facility certified with GFFP can enter into a license agreement and receive the GFFP Certified Mark of Trust™ displaying products as certified, safe and reliable.
